It took me two years to collect all the species that can be found along the coast of the Gulf of Maine. I drew a typical specimen of each species and assembled these in one poster, using Photoshop Elements to size each image as needed, assemble all images in one file, and add the captions. The poster highlights some of the identification features of similar species and allows for identification of all our native and introduced bivalve shells.
