I created the second Thresher sculpture for a memorial near the Kittery traffic circle (also called the Memorial Circle). The submarine is perspectively foreshortened and sits somewhat flat against the stone. My participation in this project (selecting the memorial stone, creation of the submarine, and installation of the bronze plaque) was a donation to the Town of Kittery.
